Our Gibbston Cellar Door is housed in the former stone stables of the 1860s Gibbston Hotel, once a resting point for miners travelling between Queenstown and Cromwell during the gold-rush era.
Preserved with care, these historic stables now serve as the Gibbston home of Monte Christo Winery. Set in the Valley of the Vines along the Gibbston River Trail, this location is a gateway to our Clyde estate, the birthplace of Central Otago wine.
Enjoy a hosted wine tasting across our range of limited-production wines. Select your wine flight of choice on the day.
Walk-ins are welcome for cellar door wine tastings. For larger groups more than 6, please get in touch with our team for availability.
