MONTE CHRISTO Wine Club

Established in 1864 by J.D. Féraud, Monte Christo is the birthplace of wine in Central Otago. At our cellar door in Clyde, our founder built the region’s first winery, grew and harvested its first grapes and made its first wines. Today, Central Otago is considered New Zealand’s and one of the world’s top growing regions for Pinot Noir and other grape varieties.
